oh those sisters!
i love stumbling upon the blog of a total stranger and discovering a real source of encouragement and inspiration. elsie from the blog A Beautiful Mess and owner of the sweetest springfield, mo shop, red velvet is one of these. her brand new shop is what all of us out there dream of creating when we think of one day summoning up all of our courage and risking it all! not only is it chock full o' the most beautiful vintage clothing i've ever seen, but is also expert at serving up the sweetest little baked goods.
i started this blog after doing some serious brainstorming on how i could combine the things i'm passionate about in this world with my curiosity in dabbling in some risky entrepreneurship. the result was a space where i planned on posting inspirations, dreaming of one day running my own business in collaboration with my own sister...
what a wonderful inspiration, indeed, to find a pair of close sisters paving the way!
thank you, elsie and emma, for being such tough, brave, and creative women!
also, if you're feeling discouraged and can't help feeling as though your dream is unrealistic, then maybe you should read this post, too. thanks, elsie for showing us that it can be done! oh-and that it's 100% worth it! Sweet success!
**all of the gorgeous photos above belong to elsie and her shop and can be seen and found at her blog A Beautiful Mess**

- i love bare feet and braided hair, growing things and walking places, karoake and gypsy music... old things, new things, red things, blue things. i'm trying desperately to find IT!
